Performing Arts and Entertainment (Music. Drama and Dance).
The aims and objectives of this exam are to; assess the candidates development of their aesthetic prowess, development of candidates’ visual and imaginative capabilities, assess their level of exposure to African choreography, music and dancing styles, assess their potentials in drama. costume making and make-up designs.
The BECE Cultural and Creative Art exam consists of three papers I, II and III and shall last for one hour each. The total of papers I, II and III shall be weighted to seventy percent (70%), in addition to thirty percent (30%) from Continuous Assessment (CA) sent in by the school.
Paper I
Paper I consists of 60 multiple choice questions and attracts a mark each. And it covers questions from Art and Crafts.
Paper II
Paper II consists of 60 questions and covers questions from Performing Arts and Entertainment;Music 30 questions, Drama 20 questions and Dance 10 questions. Making it a total of 60 questions.
Paper III
Paper III will consist of a single, 100-mark practical question about painting.
