About Handwriting Scheme of Work for Pre-Nursery Classes

Teaching a child how to write has got to be one of the most difficult things to do. While they just want to draw strokes continuously, you as their teacher want to make sure they can be able to write the letters they have learned in literacy class and it can be a great chore.

But now you have this scheme of work that will guide you on the right way to handle your kids and make handwriting fun for them. Read this article till the end if you’re interested in this.

The aims of the NAPPS Pre-Nursery Handwriting scheme of work are to:

i. Create a strong foundation for writing skills in children,

ii. Ensure that children develop confidence in their handwriting abilities.

The NAPPS Pre-Nursery Handwriting scheme of work introduces young learners to the basics of writing in a fun and engaging way. It focuses on developing fine motor skills, proper pencil grip, and letter formation.

Children learn through various activities like tracing, drawing, and practicing simple shapes and lines. With this, your children will have the basic skills necessary for writing.

The lessons in the scheme of work also have a lot of playful exercises that will make learning to write enjoyable for young children.
