About Health Habits Scheme of Work for Nursery 2

Finding good and well-detailed material for Nursery school can be quite hard. We know this and that is why we have provided a well-detailed scheme of work by the National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools (NAPPS)

The Nursery 2 Health Habits by NAPPS is designed to teach young learners the necessary health and hygienic practices.

The primary aim of this subject is to teach children the importance of personal hygiene, nutrition, physical activity, and safety using fun but, age-appropriate activities.

In this subject, children learn the basics of personal hygiene, including the right way to wash their hands, how to brush their teeth, and why they should bath regularly. These lessons can be taught through songs, stories, and practical demonstrations that make it easy to understand and remember.

They will also be taught about fruits and food, different food groups, and the benefits of eating a variety of healthy foods. Aside from learning in class, children will also engage in fun outdoor exercises that will promote their physical health.

At the end of Nursery 2, children would have learned how to express their feelings, know the importance of rest and sleep, and know a bit about personal hygiene.
