Security Education for Primary 3 is designed to teach the pupils about anti-social/criminal behaviour and how to identify and prevent them, the elements of security and it will also familiarize them with sexual offences and road accidents.
The topics covered in this class are the element of security, causes of crimes, empathy, audio awareness, identification of criminal behaviours and preventive measures, sexual offence, road accidents etc.
At the end of each class, the educator should encourage the pupils to cite examples of the topics covered in their environment and they should be encouraged to narrate the occurrence This will enable assimilation of what they are being taught.
