Some of the topics covered in this class include; crop production, procedures for crop production, planting activities, post-planting activities, harvesting activities, preservation of harvested crops, processing of harvested crops, weeds, the effect of weeds on farmers, disease of crop damage cost by pest, rearing of farm animals etc.
This subject is practical, the educator should teach the pupils how to go about the agricultural practices highlighted in the scheme.
At the end of the academic session, the pupils should know how to cultivate and harvest cultivated crops on their own, raise any farm animals of their choice and make income from the school farm.
