The Primary 2 Scheme of Work is designed to help pupils develop their essential indigenous language skills such as reading, writing, and speaking, as well as to develop their spoken language skill.
This Hausa language scheme for Primary 2 covers various topics such as differentiating between consonants and vowels, folktales, traditional songs, days of the week, greetings, respect and obedience, counting 21-25 in Hansa language, and family relationships.
The scheme also covers names of objects, occupations and their types etc. By the end of this academic session, the pupils should be able to explain the meaning of the topics, speak in short sentences, write short conversations, and count numbers from one to twenty.
