Information and Communication Technology is a subject that equip the pupils on how to be computer literate. The basic topics such as part of a computer and how to identify them have been covered in their lower basic classes. In this class, they will teach slightly advanced topics compared to what they were taught in their previous classes.
Topics like storage device, output device, launching of microsoft, microsoft powerpoint, menu bar, introduction to computer, typing and saving on microsoft, power point, virus and anti-virus, and coding etc.
The topics covered in this class are suitable for the pupils’ age, the educators should ensure that practical exercises of what they are being taught should be carried out. The pupils should be taken to the computer lab to apply what they were taught in class and they should be graded to motivate them.
